Aaaaand we're back with more What I Thought Of It. Second (and hopefully last) part for Australia!
SYDNEY [10/10]
Sydney probably was my favorite part of Australia (sorry, Perth!) the city was just amazing and we met up with so many people there and the beaches were incredible and just auugh it was great.
We stayed in a variety of places, my favorite probably being Natasha, Bailee, and Muzza's house. Known as the Whitkin Boomerang, we returned time and time again to their lovely house. We miss you guys!
The beaches were fun, but we did not go in after the Cannibalistic Octopus Incident (don't ask) and stayed on the grass having fun and playing talking games! Sydney is just a beautiful city in general. And, of course, the Sydney Opera House is fantastic. During our stay in one of our other friend's houses, I also saw a few movies that I now really enjoyed (Thor Ragnarok and Storm Boy).
Oh, and did I forget? They have these things that are pools on the rocky places next to the ocean, and they don't have to waste water on it, because the waves fill it! It's a beach if you want it, and a pool if you want it! It's pretty smart, although I think they have other places with that in the world.
NOOSA [7/10]
Noosa is just a short flight northwards of Sydney, and from what I saw, it was a lot quieter. We stayed in our friend Jim and Michelle's beachhouse (thanks guys!) with Finn, Blaine, Dexter, Tim, Tom, Hanna and Nicole. And also Jim, Mimi, Ruby and Ned for one night. Yeah. It was a little crowded.
Anyway, Noosa was fine. There were giant waves we got pounded by, which was actually really fun. But I really remember it as the place I began inventing a superhero universe. Insert sneaky link to wiki here... heh heh heh.
Ahem, anyway, Noosa was fun! We went on a few hikes and at the national park beach had our traumatic incident! Anyway, I wrote a blog post all about that! Read it if you want. Or don't. Y'know.
Noosa: Pretty nice but I still like Sydney better. Sorry.
