So I don't lose it in email, here's a hasty disorganized update i wrote to family on Medellin Colombia.

It's not much like Peru: way more modern, way less focused on tourism as the main industry. Lots of white people mixed in. No stray dogs. Not one. Starbucks and B of a and Papa John's Pizza all over the place. Beautiful light rail! Malls! But cheap too. Our large Airbnb is 50 USD per day, with 3 beds, 2 baths, living room, huge kitchen, a big pool and gardens, in a great neighborhood.

Lush plants , jungle like, but not too hot or humid. Air is clear and unpolluted. Traffic is medium-- not too bad. Roads are modern and smooth. People always stop at stop lights! They still run stop signs tho. Food is fantastic, and way more western. Lots of people speak English.

It's built in a similar mountain valley. But it's half the elevation, so no shortness of breath here!

Their kid goes to a English progressive school here. We really liked them. Craig is big and soft-spoken, a credit to sensitive American guys. They could be good friends maybe. Too bad their kid Jacob isnt better match age wise. He's 6. Still the boys both did a great job including him and finding chasing games they all enjoyed. What an improvement from last year! I was super proud.

Two reviewers said nice things about the first 4 chapters. That feels good. Its quite a mess right now, but will hit y'all up for review, once I get it re-assembled.

So cute! The gardens are stunning. There is a huge, great kid science museum next door.

All wings of fire deagon fan ifiction. He's building a community of writjng friends online. It's great to see him drive himself to explore this, It's cool to see him work with others online.

One hour , private tutor. They loved it! I was surprised. I thought theyd fight it. But the teacher is great.
